Be friend

The piece is incomplete; only when a visitor to the exhibition stands between light-source and object does the resulting joint shadow make the outline of a friendship visible.

This artifice is unique and should remain for its protection inviolable; a wide carpet of lavender blossom (not to be trodden on!) is spread underneath the figure. Because everything hangs on a thread, and not the proverbial one. (Unfortunately in our country there are small insects that enjoy my art gourmet-fashion, and I wanted to protect it: from moths and fingerprints)

I should like to add: my objects are made from Wool, cotton, human hair, linen and silk. Renewable, natural, transient raw materials.
